About Me
I have loved gardens and gardening for many
years. That love was probably instilled in me
by my Mom and Aunt—both lovely, creative
gardeners in their own right. After a
successful career in publishing and software
(and 30 chilly years in the Midwest), it has
been a dream and honor to change careers and
work professionally as a garden designer in the
beautiful Bay Area. I was trained through U.C.
Berkeley Extension’s Garden Design Certificate
program, and I continue to take courses of
interest that pertain to my work and trends in
garden design. I am also a member of the
Association of Professional Landscape
Designers. Find out more about their standards
and work ethic at
www.apld.org.
Finally, I serve as a member of the board of
directors for Markham Arboretum, and as a member
of the city of Clayton’s Trails & Landscape
Committee. |
